Information Technology, a broad term covering all aspects of managing and processing information. Information Technology

employers place a premium on some formal college education. A
bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite for many jobs; however, some jobs may require only a 2-year degree. Relevant work experience also
is very important. For more complex positions, degrees in
Information Technology, Information Systems or graduate degrees
are preferred.

specializing in training for Information technology careers. Many
of these schools partner with hardware and software vendors to
offer diplomas and certifications for graduates. The programs provide the necessary training to earn industry standard Information
Technology certifications including; A+, Network+,

many cases, obtaining technical certification is a must in
today’s competitive global economy.
