Accreditation is the process in which schools
undergo with an outside agency
that verifies the school meets the
standard set of criteria. The criterion varies
depending on the
agency, if it covers the institution, just specialized courses, and
where the agency is located. This is a voluntary process and some
schools do
not seek accreditation. Some non-traditional
schools are accredited and others
are not.
Most reputable schools advise that you check with potential employer(s)
before proceeding with a Life Experience Degree and verify it
will be accepted.
Non-traditional distance learning educational
institutions are unlike traditional
colleges and universities and

full-time faculty. Instead, they use technology to reach students,
allowing them to pursue their degree wherever they are. They

everyone has the time or money required to
